The University of North Georgia's (UNG) online registered nurse to Bachelor of Science in nursing program landed on Affordable Colleges Online's list of top 50 online RN to BSN programs. UNG was the only Georgia school to make the list.

UNG offers a three-semester, all-online program tailored to working adults. The program checked in at No. 35 on the list.

Affordable Colleges Online noted national accreditations, support services and career counseling as part of its methodology for ranking the schools.

Becky Murck, the RN to BSN coordinator at UNG, said personalized advising, study abroad opportunities and chances for civic engagement make UNG's program stand out. Many of the students end up pursuing a graduate degree.

"Faculty work with students to meet their individual goals. The program ensures a fast degree completion, which allows our students to move forward in their field of choice," Murck said. "Students are encouraged to become the nursing leaders of the future."
