University of North Georgia (UNG) President Michael Shannon will hold a virtual town hall for students, faculty and staff at noon Wednesday, Nov. 29. The town hall will last an hour, during which Shannon will share some details about what's next on his strategic big bets, including what they will look like in practice and the champions who will lead the implementation of each bet.

He will also spend a few minutes on initiatives and projects that are in the works and share how these changes will be implemented and impact the future of UNG.

Students, faculty and staff can register to attend the virtual meeting by following this link. There will also be time during the meeting to address their questions and hear their suggestions about the bets or anything else they want to discuss. If students, faculty or staff have questions they would like Shannon to address during the town hall meeting, they can email them to president@ung.edu.

"I look forward to our time together and sharing how our big bets will propel the University of North Georgia forward for our state, our region and our country," Shannon said.
