Dr. Kelly McFaden teaches undergraduate and graduate courses focusing primarily on the social foundations of education, social justice education, history and philosophy of education, education as a human right, and qualitative research methods.  She has a doctoral degree in Social Foundations of Education, Comparative and International Education from the  University of Georgia in 2013. She also coordinates the international and global programs for the College of Education, facilitating study abroad opportunities across the globe. She was selected to participate in the Fulbright-Hays Seminar Abroad Program in 2016. The program provides short-term study and travel seminars abroad for U.S. educators in the social sciences and humanities to improve their understanding and knowledge of the people and cultures of other countries.
