Tutoring Services offers the space and staff to conduct make-up tests for students. An instructor will need to submit the test using the Faculty Services page.
Students should ask for their make-up tests at the front desk in the ACTT Center in Gainesville or the LTC in Oconee. They will also need the following:
Instructor’s name
A picture ID
A pencil/pen
The required materials for the test (e.g., a scantron, calculator, etc.)
Cell phone turned OFF
Students using the make-up testing facilities in Gainesville and Oconee are subject to UNG’s Student Conduct Code and Student Handbook policies. Make-up testing is not available on the Blue Ridge, Cumming, or Dahlonega campuses. To schedule a make-up test on these campuses, please register for a UNG Online (Proctored Exam) with the Testing Center. Students who wish to take an eCore or online computerized test on any UNG campus will need to contact the Testing Center to schedule their online test as computers are not allowed in the ACTT Center or LTC testing areas. Note that tests taken with the Testing Center require payment of a fee upon registration.
Students can check calculators and textbooks out at the ACTT Center on the Gainesville campus, the Learning and Tutoring Center on the Oconee campus, or the Student Resource Center on the Cumming campus. All items are due at the end of the business day.
Students can also consult a library of writing handbooks at the Writing Center on the Gainesville campus.
