    Frequently Asked Questions

    • What UNG documents need an accessibility statement?

Any and all UNG documents that are to be uploaded to the public facing website will be required to include the accessibility statement. This is a short list and does not encompass all the documents:

      • Flyer
      • Brochure
      • Plan of Study
      • Degree Map
      • Faculty/Staff CV or resume
      • Sample Book Chapter
    • Does the statement need to be on every page of a multipage document, such as the book, or manual?
No, the statement should be on the cover page or the content page of the multipage document.
    • Whose contact information should be used on the accessibility statement?
Each web content owner should decide if there will be a primary person within the department to handle all Section 508 requests for documents they want available on the public facing website. The web content owner should let the web coordinator know whose contact information should be on all forms uploaded to the public facing website.
    • Whose contact information should be used on a faculty CV that they want uploaded to their bio/profile web page?

Each web content owner should decide if there will be a primary person within the department to handle all Section 508 requests for documents they want available on the public facing website. The web content owner should let the web coordinator know whose contact information should be on all forms uploaded to the public facing website. This would include documents uploaded for use on faculty/staff bio web page.

If this hasn't been done the faculty member's contact information should be included in the accessibility statement.
