Academic Transcripts

A transcript is an official document that records a student's academic progress. These documents are only generated and released upon the request of the student. Official transcripts are issued on security paper, or in a secure electronic format, and cannot be faxed.  Transcripts will not be issued for individuals who have an outstanding balance or unfulfilled obligation to the university.

Order your official UNG transcript now.  If you are a former Gainesville State College student or a former North Georgia College & State University student, please use this link also.

If you would like to view or print your unofficial transcript, please use the Banner Web link also.

Transfer Credit

Transfer credit is generally accepted from regionally accredited institutions. A credit evaluation is completed by the Registrar’s Office after a student has been accepted to UNG. This evaluation is done to determine if a course is equivalent to a UNG course. Time frame for evaluations may vary due to volume of transfer applicants.

All official international transcripts must have a foreign course-by-course credential evaluation by an independent evaluation service that is a member of the National Association of Credential Evaluation Services, Inc. (NACES). The evaluation must be sent directly from the agency to the Registrar's Office.  A full list of NACES members are listed online at www.naces.org/members.htm.  International coursework is dependent upon UNG departmental approval.

To view transfer credit equivalencies for various institutions, please use the link below.  Please note that as we verify the accuracy of other institutions, we will add these to the list as well.
