Graduate Studies Student Awards

Do you know an exceptional master’s or doctoral student making a lasting impact at UNG? Nominate a graduate student for the UNG Outstanding Masters Student Award and the UNG Outstanding Doctoral Student Award.

Sponsored by the UNG Graduate Student Senate and the Graduate Council, these awards recognize exemplary graduate scholars who demonstrate outstanding academic achievement, character, research or creative endeavors, and dedicated service to the university community.

• Eligibility: Full- or part-time master’s and doctoral students in good standing with a minimum 3.5 GPA.
• Nominations: UNG faculty, staff, and graduate students are invited to submit nominations; self-nominations are welcome.
• Recognition: Honorees will be awarded a commemorative plaque at the annual UNG Awards Ceremony.
