Welcome Prospective CAMP Students!

The College Assistance Migrant Program (CAMP) at the University of North Georgia (UNG) is seeking highly motivated and qualified students to change their lives through education!

Are you ready to get started?

Your dedication and motivation are what has gotten you thus far, let us expand your horizons to help you achieve even more!

UNG CAMP is one of approximately 41 first-year college experience programs nationwide that help dependents of migrant or seasonal farmworkers pursue a college degree. With support from your parents, the CAMP staff, and peer mentors, UNG CAMP will help you succeed by empowering you through leadership, professional and personal development in a family-like environment.

CAMP offers academic tutoring, mentoring, advising and financial support, as well as, assistance in finding jobs/internships, obtain federal financial aid, and apply to additional scholarships to finance the remainder of your college education. While CAMP only provides intrusive coaching for your first year, we’ll continue to support you beyond your first year through limited services because, once a CAMPer, always a CAMPer!

Our two primary goals are to help you successfully complete your first year of college and to help you continue to your second year while persisting through graduation. Are you ready to take this leap?

We sincerely wish you the best as you embark in your collegiate career. We look forward to having you join the UNG CAMP family!

Sincerely,

Christian Bello E., M.Ed.
