    Leadership & Public Service Minor

    The minor in leadership and public service is designed for all students who spend four years in the Corps of Cadets. The curriculum of the minor is designed to prepare students for service in governmental and non-governmental agencies that focus on varied aspects of national security.

      A survey of Western warfare from the beginning to the present, emphasizing the modern period. The course will examine the inter-relationship of war and social, economic, political and technological conditions. MQS recommended. (U.S. OR EUROPEAN HISTORY)

    • HIST 3400 - History of the Middle East

      A survey of Middle Eastern history from ancient times to the present, with emphasis on the rise and development of Islamic culture in the region. The course may be repeated for a maximum of 9 credit hours.  (ASIAN OR WORLD HISTORY)

    • CSCI 1250 - Information Technologies

      An introductory course to methods of information retrieval, processing and presentation. It provides an overview of computer hardware and application software used for on-line search, creating spreadsheets, as well as tools for managing content on the web and in the cloud. The course emphasizes analytical thinking, and teaches problem solving skills through an introduction to basic programming structures such as selection and loops.
