    A Message from the Director

    En Español

    Welcome prospective HEP students!

The High School Equivalency Program (HEP) at the University of North Georgia (UNG) is seeking highly motivated and qualified candidates to change their lives through education!

Perhaps you did not get the chance to study at a traditional high school and obtain your high school diploma or circumstances did not allow for you to finish your education. However, it is never too late to get started. The motivation and right attitude can prove to be rewarding.

HEP could be the opportunity you have been looking for! This program’s purpose is to help not solely through education but create leaders in the process. You could become a role model to your family and community. This opportunity could be the door to a better lifestyle.

HEP is a program invested not only in your lifestyle but in your persona as well. It is supportive of the many dynamics of its students and provides classes that best fit the participant’s schedule.

HEP at UNG is one of two universities in the state that allows individuals from migrant or seasonal farm-worker families to obtain a General Education Development (GED) with added benefits.

Are you ready for the path of self-improvement?

We look forward to having you join the UNG HEP family!
