UNG Honors Program
Learn, Lead, and Serve Through an Enriching and Innovative Academic Community
The UNG Honors program, housed on the Dahlonega and Gainesville campuses, provides an environment of support and challenge to foster growth toward a fulfilling professional, civic and personal life. Benefits of being an active member of the Honors Program include:
- Small class sizes (12-18 students)
- More rigorous development of critical thinking and independent study skills
- Access to faculty and peer research mentors
- Guidance in preparing applications for scholarships and graduate school
- Opportunities to present at state and regional Honors conferences

- On average, higher UNG GPAs upon graduation than eligible students who do not participate
Georgia Collegiate Honors Conference
The 2025 annual conference will be held at the Georgia Institute of Technology in Atlanta, Georgia on February 21 & 22.
