Welcome to the Password Management information page.
The purpose of this page is to provide detailed information to manage your UNG credentials. To fully utilize the account management features you must first enroll in the system.
Your university credentials provide secure access to resources at UNG. These services include Office 365, OneDrive, email, Banner, and myUNG access, etc. All faculty, staff, and students are granted university credentials dependent on the relationship with the university.

Welcome to UNG! To begin, you must create a complex and secure password for your UNG account. Use the following instructions to create your password and enroll in the password reset service.
If you did not enroll in password management when setting up your UNG account, then you will be presented with a screen prompting you to enroll in Password Management at your next login to https://auth.ung.edu. Password management provides you with alternatives for changing your password, or resetting a forgotten or expired password. To help confirm your identity when resetting your password, you will need to provide a few additional pieces of information. Note: Entering a secondary email is optional. If no secondary email is desired, click the button for "I don't have a secondary email". If you do not add a secondary email, you will not be able to use the service in the future. Note: If you do not add a phone number, you will not be able to use the service in the future. Click Create My Account Information Needed to Enroll in Password Management

If you have a password expiring soon or have other reasons to change it, use the following steps to update your current password. Note: You will not be able to remove duo security
To utilize the features for a forgotten or expired password, you must be enrolled in the password management system. If you have not enrolled, you will need to call 706-864-1922. Attempting to use this option prior to enrollment will produce no results. For forgotten passwords:

Outdated information can cause you to lose access to UNG systems. Follow the instructions below to keep up-to-date information for managing UNG account credentials.
2FA, or two-factor authentication, is a second layer of security on your password protected accounts. Many of your personal accounts use 2FA already! Ever enter your password on your bank's website or even Twitter and been asked to verify your identity by entering a code that was sent to your phone? That's 2FA.
