The University of North Georgia is continuing to closely monitor an approaching winter weather system in coordination with the National Weather Service and the Georgia Emergency Management and Homeland Security Agency.
Based on current forecasts and in the interest of safety, we are encouraging students to return home for the weekend after their classes conclude on Friday, if possible.
