The Goizueta Foundation Scholarship

The Goizueta Foundation Scholarship is the legacy of Roberto C. Goizueta, the late CEO and Chairman of the Board of Directors of The Coca-Cola Company. The scholarship supports the academic success and leadership development of the Hispanic/Latino students at UNG through financial assistance, group activities, mentorship, personalized advising, and community service opportunities.

Eligibility Requirements

  • Be of Latino or Hispanic heritage.
  • Have financial need.

New and returning students are eligible for consideration, regardless of immigration status.


Awards range from $1,000 to $3,000 per academic year (50% of the award will be distributed during the Fall semester and the remaining 50% during the Spring semester).

Goizueta Scholarship Description

The scholarship endowment is paired with a leadership program that is completed throughout the academic year. The program offers students the opportunity to develop their academic and leadership skills through:

  • Biweekly group activities and workshops.
  • Participation in UNG's annual Student Leadership Conference
  • Membership in the Latino Student Association and/or the Latin-American Student Organization (LASO).
  • Participation in community service projects.
  • Involvement in campus mentorship program.
  • Advisement sessions with Latino success coordinator.
