Nearly 250 individuals were recognized for individual service to the University of North Georgia (UNG) and 14 retirees were honored during the 2022 service award and retiree receptions on April 18 and 19.

"We are thrilled to once again be hosting the service award and retiree reception in person on the Dahlonega and Gainesville campuses," Elizabeth King, UNG training and development specialist said. "More than ever our employees are doing incredible things in impossible circumstances, and they absolutely deserve the recognition and reward that comes with celebrating their dedication and service to UNG."

All employees who reached a five-year incremental service milestone in 2021 and those who retired during the last half of 2021 were honored.
