Ms. Boatright has over 24 years of experience as a Registered Nurse; including teaching for the University System of Georgia for the past nine years. Also during and prior to teaching she has worked as an acute/critical care nurse in a variety of areas in the hospital setting including medical-surgical, oncology, post-anesthesia care and intensive care. Ms. Boatright is also a Registered Dietitian and has worked in both in-patient and outpatient settings counseling patients on issues related to nutrition. Currently Ms. Boatright teaches/coordinates the Adult Health I and II nursing courses, as well as the Intro to Clinical Nutrition course. She also enjoys teaching students hands-on in clinical as well as simulation.
