Heather Harris is a certified Family Nurse Practitioner with an interest in Population Health and underserved populations. She has over 25 years of nursing experience. She volunteers as a nurse practitioner at Clarkston Community Health Center, caring for culturally diverse, uninsured, low income patients in a primary care setting. Ms. Harris also enjoys medical missions and coordinates a study abroad trip to the Dominican Republic. Her research interests include diabetes education, child sexual abuse, perinatal bereavement, and underserved populations.
