Melissa Bailey started her nursing career in an Intensive Care Unit. Upon relocating to Georgia, she then began working on an Adult Medical-Surgical Unit, while attending graduate school. Also, while attending graduate school, she began working as a clinical instructor for the University of North Georgia (then North Georgia College & State University). After completing her Master’s Degree in Nursing Education, she began teaching as in her current full-time teaching position in the Associate Degree Program. Ms. Bailey is currently working towards a Post-Master’s Degree as a Family Nurse Practitioner.
