Mrs. Wright is a certified nurse educator and registered nurse. She completed her BSN at the Medical College of Georgia. In 2015, she completed her master's in nursing education at the University of North Georgia and has been a full-time faculty member in the nursing department since then. She has taught across the curriculum, with foci on fundamentals of nursing, geriatric care, research, and public health. Mrs. Wright is currently pursuing a Ph.D. degree at Mercer University. Her primary research area is the academic barriers of culturally and linguistically diverse nursing students. Mrs. Wright maintains direct patient care as an RN and also leads multiple community outreach endeavors.
