Overview
Emily is a dedicated student affairs professional with a passion for leadership development, community engagement, and advocacy. They currently oversee leadership development and community service programs in the Office of Student Involvement at the University of North Georgia, including the Student Conference on Leadership and Days of Service.
Emily earned a B.S. in Integrative Studies with a focus on Leadership and Communication from Kennesaw State University and an M.Ed. in Higher Education Administration from Georgia Southern University. They are currently pursuing a Graduate Certificate in Nonprofit Management and Community Development at the University of West Georgia and are a doctoral student in Georgia Southern’s Educational Leadership program.
Emily is particularly passionate about empowering others to engage with and contribute to the communities around them, fostering a culture of involvement, leadership, and social change.
