Tutoring Services on the Oconee Campus is housed in the Tutoring & Learning Center which is located inside the Student Resource Center (SRC). We provide in-person tutoring for accounting, chemistry, mathematics, and writing. Online Tutoring Services also provides online sessions for these subjects and more.
Students can drop by for in-person sessions. Repeat visits are strongly encouraged so that we can assist in developing your academic needs.

The Learning & Tutoring Center has in-person tutoring for accounting, chemistry, mathematics, and writing. Students with their student ID may check out many types of calculators and current textbooks for chemistry and mathematics courses, etc.
Borrowed items must be returned the same day. The is also provides computers & study space, and also is the designated location for make-up testing.
Note: Lidded drinks and small snacks are permitted, but please consume meals elsewhere.
Professional and peer math tutors help students with all levels of mathematics courses. Students may drop-in during SRC operating hours or may make an appointment with Jeffery Matthews at tutorme.ung.edu (login required) for up-to-date information on in-person availability.
Students can also seek help through Online Tutoring Services.
Professional and peer tutors help students on questions concerning their chemistry courses or labs. Students may drop-in during SRC operating hours or seek help through Online Tutoring Services.
The accounting tutor helps students by clarifying conceptual frameworks and their application to accounting methods. Tutoring is first-come, first-served, and may involve you working independently while the tutor helps other people. Tutors help students learn how to solve the problem; they don’t complete homework for students.
Students may drop-in during SRC operating hours and the accounting tutor can review problems and homework to help students strengthen their understanding of accounting.

The Writing Center is open for in-person tutoring. Writing consultants work with students in 30-minute, one-on-one sessions on writing projects they bring in. They help students strengthen writing skills, develop rhetorical awareness, and reflect on their learning outcomes
