Oconee Campus Services

Learning and Tutoring Center

The LTC houses tutoring, make-up testing, textbook/calculator checkouts, computing & study space, as well as the study room for Supplemental Instruction.

Hours of Operation:

Monday – Thursday 7:30 a.m. – 8:00 p.m. (6:00 p.m. summer)

Friday  7:30 a.m. – 3:00 p.m. (12:00 p.m. summer)

Math

Professional and peer math tutors help students with all levels of mathematics courses from learning support through calculus.

Tutoring is available on a drop-in basis!

Location: Oconee Learning & Tutoring Center 583

Hours of Operation:

Monday - Thursday 8:00 a.m. - 5:00 p.m.

Fridays until 3:00 p.m. (12:00 p.m. summer)

 

Writing

Writing consultants work with students in 30-minute, one-on-one sessions on writing projects they bring in. They help students strengthen writing skills, develop rhetorical awareness, and reflect on their learning outcomes.

Chemistry

Professional and peer tutors help students on questions concerning their chemistry courses or labs.

Tutoring is available on a drop-in basis!

Monday 9:00 a.m. - 11:30 a.m.

Tuesday - Thursday 9:00 a.m. - 2:30 p.m.

Accounting

The accounting tutor helps students by explaining the theory, principles, and methods of accounting. She can explain problems, check homework, and review concepts with students.

Tutoring is available on a drop-in basis.

Monday - Thursday 11:00 a.m. – 12:00 p.m. and 2:00 p.m. – 4:00 p.m.

Friday 11:00 a.m. – 3:00 p.m. (12:00 p.m. summer)
