Audio Visual Event Services (AVES)

We provide Audio Visual Event Services for university sponsored events in accordance with the UNG Facilities Use policy.

Our Technicians Provide: 

  • Audio-Visual event planning consultation
  • Room-Integrated AV equipment training and operation, if needed.
  • External AV equipment management (transportation, setup, operation, and breakdown) for equipment such as microphones, cameras, audio mixing board, PA systems, projectors and projector screens
  • Event recording (unedited video)
  • Stage lighting for the Convocation Center or Hoag Auditorium 

AV Event Service Technicians Should Be Requested if:

  • Presenter(s) are unfamiliar with the room’s installed AV controls and there is not enough time for a quick training session before the event.
  • Additional equipment beyond the installed AV equipment is required to support the event.
  • An important guest presenter or audience member will be present at the event.
  • The event will take place in the Convocation Center main floor and requires AV equipment.
  • The event will take place off campus.

Reserve an AVES Technician

  1. Log in to the the myUNG UNG Scheduling Program page and access the Scheduling platform.
  2. Add an AV Event Service Technician Request to your reservation.
    • Please account for setup and breakdown time before and after your event. If you are unsure of preparation times, contact aves@ung.edu for consultation before scheduling event services. 
  3. Visit your reserved event space before the event to ensure all installed equipment is available and operational for your needs.
