    The eight dimensions of wellness are a mutually interdependent, holistic approach to achieving well-being in your life. It is important to address each dimension, equally, to achieve a healthy lifestyle. Over time, disregard of one dimension can negatively affect other dimensions and ultimately overall health.

Physical wellness also includes a personal responsibility to understand your body’s warning signs and recognize when you are ill and in need of medical attention.
