How did you hear about your internship?
I heard about the UNG Press Internship when I was taking Introduction to Publishing; my professor, Dr. Robinson, told me that she ran a press at UNG and I saw the internship form on their website. I filled it out and the rest is history!
What has been the most valuable (or favorite) part of the experience?
My favorite part of interning at the UNG Press was getting to read all the amazing book queries. I fell in love with almost every single one that I read. All the books that they publish are great quality and worth a read.
How will this help you in the future?
The skills that I learned from the internship are going to be a great aid in my career path. I am grateful for all the book recommendations that the Press gave me; I learned so much about publishing, marketing, layout and designing, editing, writing, and so much more.
