I have always heard good things about the company from various people, but what made me apply for their internship was meeting them at the UNG career fair last spring. The way every person there talked about the company values and atmosphere you could tell they all really enjoyed their job, which made me want to be a part of their team.
My favorite part of my internship is that I am actually doing real life recruiting. I’ve never once gone on a coffee run for my superiors or done any nonsense tasks! I’m looking through resumes, phone screening potential candidates, sitting in on interviews, and getting our new hires through our hiring process.
Every day I learn something new, something I am going to be able to put on my resume, or use in real life situations. Interning at Rogers is like starting your first job out of college a year early.
