Information Systems (B.B.A.)
Graduates from the Information Systems (B.B.A.) are prepared to manage the infrastructure of technology and the practical applications of technology to support organizations and create value.
Students in the computer information systems degree program take courses in communications, business management, mathematics, database administration and network theory and design. Taking these courses provide graduates with the background to effectively plan, construct and implement technological solutions that drive their organizations forward.

Bachelor's degree seeking students may declare a Business major at any point, but must successfully complete an online advising module related to their business major and meet admission requirements prior to enrolling in any advanced 3000/4000 level course.
Student Life
The Department of Computer Science and Information Systems offers two elite competition opportunities for Computer Science students.
The UNG programming team, the “Codin’ Nighthawks,” competes annually at ACM and CCSC programming competitions in the region.
In addition to traditional programming, the Mike Cottrell College of Business also has a Collegiate Cyber Defense Competition (CCDC) team that students may participate in with weekly practices prior to the Southeastern Qualifying Competition.
