The Bachelor of Science in Interdisciplinary Studies (IDST) at UNG is the customizable degree program that allows students to design their curriculum based on their areas of interests and professional goals. This degree offers students the flexibility to choose a variety of combinations of the eight available concentrations in addition to the option of choosing courses from various disciplines within each concentration. >Students can choose to complete an internship for credit in an area of study of their choice and can design their senior capstone project around their research and/or career interests.
The IDST program is ideal for students with multiple areas of interests that do not want to be restricted to a single area of study. The field of Interdisciplinary Studies is growing as companies and professional organizations recognize the value of graduates with a breadth of skills and knowledge across different disciplines.
