    Graphic Design Minor

A minor in graphic design will teach you how design thinking works in visual communication, exploration, and market research. In addition, you will learn the history, theory, and design application across multiple disciplines.

Pursuing a minor in graphic design can complement a variety of college majors. The most popular combinations are business administration, marketing, film, history, English, and biology. This minor can help prepare you to become independent, self-employed freelancers.

This minor is not available to students majoring in any of the four-year degree programs offered by the Department of Visual Arts. Find more information about academic programs and visual art areas at the Department of Visual Arts.
