    MakerBot Innovation Center

    UNG has the first MakerBot Innovation Center in Georgia. Located on the Dahlonega campus and overseen by the Visual Arts department, it is available to all majors and departments.

    Art students learn to weld sculptures

    Thanks to a LEAP grant, Jeffrey Repko purchased a welding machine to teach his students how to make large sculptures for public art. The students started working with the welder in fall 2021.

    After many years as a member of the American Institute for Graphic Arts, assistant professor of graphic design Tiffany Joy Prater is finally a board member.
