This 18 credit hour minor program provides studio courses to students majoring outside of the Department of Visual Arts. A minor in studio art will start with foundation studio courses (ART 1010 Drawing I, ART 1020 Two-Dimensional Design & Color Theory, or ART 1030 Three-Dimensional Design) and then proceed with a variety of intermediate and upper-level courses in traditional art media.
This minor is not available to students majoring in any of the four-year degree programs offered by the Department of Visual Arts. Find more information about academic programs and visual art areas at the Department of Visual Arts.
