Do you want to shape your world through the power of language and technology to communicate. Our students are passionate about language and communication, and they desire to use texts and digital media to shape their worlds.
The English Major with Writing & Publication Concentration (B.A.) emphasizes proficiency in writing in both print and digital media along with background in theories related to rhetoric and composition. Students who pursue this degree will be prepared for a variety of careers that require strong writing and communication skills.
Our program offers a range of courses, including grant writing and peer tutoring, that balance theory and practice to cultivate effective print and digital writing. Internships, student-faculty research projects, and conferences help maximize your skill set.
