Info for Art Students

Art Student Handbook

The Art Student Handbook is for all visual arts students. It is updated manually. The handbook outlines a wide range of educational and professional topics such as: advising, your plan of study, art portfolios, studio assistants and more. It serves as a guide for your program of study at the University of North Georgia.

Documenting Your Work

Documenting your artwork in the form of digital images is an important part of being an artist. You will need documentation of your work for your portfolio review here at UNG and when you graduate. You will also need these documents when you submit with graduate school and/or job applications. The following are helpful videos on documenting your work.

How to Mix Plaster

It is very important that plaster be mixed properly. Make sure you read about the proper mixing of plaster by volume and weight.
