The University of North Georgia and the Cadet Leadership Academy hosts international military faculty and instructors for the purpose of teaching, instructing or lecturing, studying, observing, conducting research, consulting, and demonstrating special skills in the general interest of international academic exchange.

Visiting Military Faculty may arrive to UNG in four non-student categories including:
International Military Faculty must be formally invited and sponsored by either the Cadet Leadership Academy and/or a UNG academic department.
Visiting military faculty must begin planning at least six months in advance in order to prepare all the necessary supporting documents and carefully consider the complexities of immigration regulations for staffing positions and research coordination.
In order to research, lecture, or teach full-time at UNG, scholars must complete and or submit the following documents:
UNG Human Resources (HR) will provide military faculty with acceptance as a UNG visiting faculty member.
