As a student worker you will play an important role in supporting the university’s daily operations.

Application Overview

  • Student must be degree-seeking and enrolled in at least a half-time (6+ credit hours per semester)
  • Student workers are temporary employees. They are not eligible for benefits and cannot work during official university closings.
  • Types of Student Work
    • Federal Work-Study (FWS)
      • Funded by the Cost & Aid Department based on demonstrated financial need (requires a current FAFSA).

      Institutional Student Workers
      • Funded directly by individual UNG departments.
      • Financial aid status and FAFSA are not required
      • No earning limit for the academic year.
      International Students
  • View open positions and apply directly through UNG Careers.
    • Qualified applicants will typically receive an interview invitation via email.
