  • UNG’s Nighthawk Wellness Program was created in January of 2016.
  • Faculty and staff from Human Resources, Staff Council, Health and Physical Education, Recreation and Wellness began working to discuss ideas and programs to promote health and wellness throughout all of UNG’s campuses. 

UNG’s Nighthawk Wellness Program seeks to improve the overall health and wellness of all UNG employees through means of physical activities, education and onsite health promotion programs in order to decrease absenteeism, improve productivity and decrease the annual costs of healthcare.

Staff and faculty spend 40 hours a week at work, it is important that the worksite be a healthy place to work and support healthy choices for employees. It is our mission to work toward implementing policies that support a healthy worksite and healthy employees.
