The University of North Georgia’s (UNG) Nighthawk Wellness is a voluntary program dedicated to enhancing the mind, body and spirit of its employees.
UNG’s Nighthawk Wellness Program seeks to improve the overall health and wellness of all UNG employees through means of physical activities, education and onsite health promotion programs in order to decrease absenteeism, improve productivity and decrease the annual costs of healthcare.
Staff and faculty spend 40 hours a week at work, it is important that the worksite be a healthy place to work and support healthy choices for employees. It is our mission to work toward implementing policies that support a healthy worksite and healthy employees.
