In-State Tuition for Border-States on Gainesville Campus

Students who are residents of Alabama, Florida, North Carolina, South Carolina, and Tennessee will receive in-state tuition when they attend the University of North Georgia’s (UNG) Gainesville campus by applying for a Border State Waiver (PDF).

U.S. New ranks UNG as the top university in Georgia on the Best Value Colleges and Least Debt lists, and it is the top-ranked Georgia school on the list of Best Colleges for Veterans among public Regional Universities in the South.
