Amy Ewing, MSN-NE, RN, CCRN
Overview
Amy Ewing began her nursing career in an Intensive Care Unit as a new graduate nurse from the University of North Georgia (UNG). She has spent over seven years working as a staff nurse in critical care and post-anesthesia recovery in Atlanta area hospitals and as a travel nurse in California. She began working for UNG as a clinical instructor in 2019 and has taught clinical for Foundations of Nursing and Adult Health I and II, simulation for Adult Health I and II, and supervised practicum students in Synthesis.
Amy graduated from UNG with a Master of Science in Nursing Education in May 2022 and joined the full-time faculty in August 2022. She is currently lecturing for Adult Health II in the BSN program as well as teaching clinicals. Amy is currently pursuing a Doctorate in Education (Ed.D) at the University of West Georgia.
