    Social Foundations & Leadership Education

The Social Foundations & Leadership Education department includes programs in the College of Education that seek to prepare students for teaching in our global society. Our Social Foundations of Education program provides students a foundation in the field that demonstrates the significant role that they will have as educators in the future.

The graduate degree and certificate programs we offer extend beyond this foundation, reflecting the UNG mission by providing a rigorous academic environment focused on inclusivity, community partnerships, research, and creativity. Students who are pre-service and current teachers and administrators benefit from the expertise of our faculty who model successful pedagogy, service, and scholarship.
