UNG Trademarks & Licensing UNG trademarks (including logos, monograms, and derivatives) are the exclusive property of the University of North Georgia. Unauthorized use is prohibited.
UNG partners with the Collegiate Licensing Company (CLC) to manage brand protection and enforcement of trademark rights. Together, we review all applications to ensure products align with the university’s strategic goals.
License Types
- Internal License: Allows companies to produce products for internal university use only. Direct sales to consumers or retailers are strictly prohibited.
- Retail License: Allows companies to produce products for sale to the general public. This is intended for vendors capable of extensive retail distribution or unique product introduction.
All offerings of art and designs from internal licensees must be approved through CLC’s Brand Manager 360 online licensing system before any production begins.
Ordering Information
All UNG departments and groups must follow the University Licensing policy and follow appropriate purchasing guidelines.
Products and designs must be approved by the Strategic Communications and Marketing Department (SC&M) by submitting the product in question either through the Creative Assistance Request form or through the CLC Brand
