    Awards for Summer Honors

Summer Honors participants earn awards both for academics and leadership. Students who compete well in several awards categories are eligible for the Most Outstanding Student Award.

    Leadership Awards

    Summer Honors emphasizes character-based leadership.

    • Hank Brady Leadership Award
    • Character Award
    • Leadership Potential Award
    • Best Team Player Award
    • Counselors' Award

    Academic Awards

Summer Honors has two essay contests and three Quiz Bowls, two of which are individual competitions. We have additional evaluations of academics as well. Because our Most Outstanding Student earns a scholarship to attend UNG, our academic evaluations are exacting. Success in Summer Honors academics is an excellent indicator of future success in collegiate coursework.
