For 2023, Summer Honors registration costs $1,500 with a registration fee due by May 1, 2023.
Prices/fees are subject to change without notice.
Certain school districts support competitively-awarded scholarships that will cover all or the majority of the registration fee:
Cherokee County
Fannin County
Hall County
Lumpkin County
White County
If you would like your school or county to participate but you don’t see them here, please contact the Summer Honors Director, Kelly West to determine the best way to make that happen!
To be eligible for Summer Honors, you must have completed your junior year of high school and have at least a 3.5 GPA when calculated using a 4.0 scale.
When you submit your application, a link will be sent to your high school guidance counselor and the teacher from whom you have requested a recommendation.
Be sure to ask your teacher before verifying their email address and entering on your application.
You will also need your guidance counselor to upload a current, official transcript.
If you are from a school district that offers scholarship support for Summer Honors, your guidance counselor information is already in the system.
If your school does not offer scholarships, please verify the correct email address for your guidance counselor and include it in your application.
A link will be sent to them upon submission of your application asking them upload a transcript on your behalf.
