    About the Title IX Office

    The Title IX Office works to prevent sex and gender-based discrimination and ensure that no person is denied access to any educational program or activity on the basis of sex, gender, or pregnancy status.

    Contact the Title IX Office if you:

    • think you may have encountered sexual misconduct or gender discrimination.
    • are pregnant or parenting.
    • learn of a situation that you feel may warrant a University investigation.
    • need help on how to handle a situation by which you are indirectly affected.
    • seek guidance on possible informal remedies or administrative measures to de-escalate or alleviate a difficult situation.
    • have questions about the University’s policies and procedures.

    Who does the Title IX Office protect?

    The Title IX Office protects all campus affiliates. This includes undergraduate students, graduate students, post-doctoral students, staff, faculty, and anyone else affiliated with UNG. Non-UNG affiliates may make a Title IX report and receive support.
