    Sexual Misconduct Policies and Procedures

Under Title IX (Title IX of the Education Amendments of 1972), an education program or activity includes locations, events, or circumstances over which the school exercised substantial control over the Respondent and the context in which the conduct occurred. Title IX applies to all education programs or activities, whether such programs or activities occur on-campus or off-campus.

No person in the United States shall, on the basis of sex, be excluded from participation in, denied the benefits of, or be subjected to discrimination under any education program or activity receiving Federal financial assistance.

Through the Sexual Misconduct Policy, UNG addresses behavior affecting its students or employees inside and outside Title IX’s jurisdiction.

To report an incident, complete the Sexual Misconduct Report Form or email TitleIX@ung.edu.
