Overview

Alvita was born and raised in southern Georgia. She has at least 10 years of higher education experience that ranges across various institutions for the University System of Georgia and even a brief period working abroad with first-year college students.

Alvita received her Bachelor's of Science in Sociology from Georgia Southwestern State University in 2014, and her Master's of Education in Professional Counseling with a College Student Affairs concentration in 2017. There is no problem too big for her to solve when it comes to the college student experience. "My career is dedicated to helping students take charge of their collegiate career with confidence and determination to discover new opportunities and adventures. These new pathways can be scary, but with the right resources and network, students can accomplish anything they set their minds to."

In her free time, Alvita enjoys arts and crafts, journaling through music and movies, and trying something new every day.
