Art Major with a Digital Arts Concentration (B.A.)

The B.A. with a major in art and a concentration in digital arts is designed to prepare you for jobs or graduate study in 2-D animation, 3-D animation, 3-D modeling and printing, motion arts, interactive media design, visual effects, and product visualization. You will improve style development within fields such as studio art, advertising, marketing, web development, game development, and the entertainment industry.

It is a comprehensive degree with 42-credit-hours in 2000, 3000, and 4000 level coursework in studio art and art history with a focus in digital 2-D and 3-D art. There is also an internship.

Internship Information

The digital arts concentration offers ART 4850 GA Internship in the Arts, a one-semester 3-credit-hour course, during your junior or senior year. Internships integrate academic learning with related work experience. By combining work and study, you can test career choices, improve work skills, and develop professional competence.
