Our Sociology programs promote critical thinking, data literacy, an appreciation and understanding of diversity, a complex understanding of human behavior, and an awareness of how big ideas (social theory) about contemporary social problems (systemic racism, criminal justice reform, climate change, healthcare) and can be translated into practice (research methodology) and action (social change).
