Angel Longino, CP-LDF, SHRM-CP

Dr. Angel S. Longino, CP-LDF, SHRM-CP is a certified human resources practitioner, interdisciplinary instructor, leadership coach, and researcher with deep experience in employee relations, talent strategy, learning design, and organizational effectiveness. Her work is rooted in a people-centered philosophy, "There is no business other than the PEOPLE busines" that prioritizes inclusion, empowerment, and applied cultural intelligence across educational and workplace environments.

Dr. Longino has partnered with higher education institutions, nonprofits, government agencies, and private sector organizations to strengthen HR systems, enhance career readiness, support employee experience, and design equitable learning pathways. As a strategic advisor and facilitator, she guides leaders to align intention with impact, building capacity for sustainable organizational growth, and human development.

She holds a Doctor of Business Administration (DBA) with a specialization in Human Resource Management, and she is a Certified Professional (SHRM-CP) and a Certified Practitioner in Learning & Design Facilitation (CP-LDF). Dr. Longino has been featured in the Mississippi Business Journal, presented at national conferences, and facilitated seminars for professional associations, employee resource groups, and academic communities.

A lifelong advocate for cultural intelligence (CQ) and inclusive practice, Dr. Longino believes that authentic human connection enhances organizational performance and personal growth. She has served in leadership roles with local SHRM chapters, contributed to national HR research panels, and often supports initiatives that expand access to career development for underrepresented and military-connected populations as an advocate for AI Enablement & Ethical Learning Strategy and Veteran & Military Spouse Transition Support.

Outside of her professional commitments, Dr. Longino proudly serves her community through mentoring, coaching, and volunteer engagement. She is a member of Gamma Phi Delta Sorority, Incorporated, and enjoys exploring literature, the arts, and global perspectives as a way to broaden understanding and enrich her work.
