Year Two: Launch
- Join a professional association related to your field.
- Write your resume and learn to create cover letters.
- Create or refresh your LinkedIn profile. Review all your social media profiles with an eye toward employment.
- Learn to interview and visit a career specialist for a mock interview to get feedback.
- Learn how and where to search for opportunities.
Visit Career Services once per semester to review your progress. Register on Handshake to find internships and part-time jobs.
Meet with a Career Specialist to develop an action plan. Take steady steps all year long to graduate with a job or admission to your next academic program.
