Emma Kate Bohannan

I heard about my internship through career services, who had a reference to another student who had done the internship before me. Through the contact details they gave me, I was able to reach the internship coordinator and set up an interview!

The experience has allowed me to utilize all aspects of my major and minor. Every day is the different, whether it be reporting on trending news, writing articles and press releases, or highlighting cultural community events, I have been given the opportunity to experience many different forms assignments, while also being able to use the language I have studied for many years!

Not only has this experience given me solid connections, but it has taught me how to be adaptable to my future job, by allowing me to experience a large variety of assignments in my position. I feel that this experience has also made me more confident, which I hope to apply in future interviews and potential positions.
