Marketing with Digital Concentration - Liger Partners- Atlanta, GA

How did you hear about your internship?

I heard about this internship through LinkedIn. I noticed that one of the managing partners of Liger, Eric Holtzclaw, was a UNG graduate, so I decided to send him a message in order to make a connection over our love for the school. In return, he pushed my resume and application to the front of the line and I was interviewed and offered the position!

What has been the most valuable (or favorite) part of the experience?

Through this internship as a Social Media Marketing Intern for Liger Marketing, I have discovered that this is what I want to do for the rest of my life. I love the creativity, fast pace, and hard work that goes into each marketing strategy and piece of content I make. I have also made such meaningful connections and loved working alongside this team. Also, Liger is named after the movie Napoleon Dynamite, which has led to a deep appreciation for this movie!

How will this help you in the future?

This internship has taught me about the power of confidence. At first, I was nervous that I would mess up or not understand something while interning. However, internships are solely meant for learning, asking for help, messing up, and trying again. This internship has taught me to have confidence in myself and my abilities, even when I mess up; and to have resilience and a hunger to learn in all circumstances.
